Nothing Can Be Done To Prevent Floods Disaster In Nigeria - Sultan Of Sokoto

Message from the Sultan: Respectful Communication is Key

Naija News brings you an important message from the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar. In a heartfelt address, the revered religious and traditional leader called on Nigerians to voice their concerns to leaders in a respectful manner, rather than resorting to insults. This plea was made during his Sallah message following the Eid-el-Fitr prayer at Fakon Idi on Sunday, March 30.

The Sultan emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum when addressing leaders. He pointed out that respectful dialogue can lead to meaningful change, while harsh words can hinder progress. "When we insult our leaders, how can we expect them to listen to us and act on our concerns?" he asked. The Sultan reassured everyone that if issues are raised in a calm and respectful way, leaders are more likely to pay attention and take action.

Prayers for Leadership and the Nation

The Sultan of Sokoto also encouraged Nigerians to pray for their leaders at every level of governance. As the President General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Sultan Sa’ad reminded everyone that prayer is a powerful tool that can bring positive change. "Pray for Mr. President, your governors, local government chairmen, and lawmakers," he advised. "Pray that God grants them the strength and wisdom to fulfill their duties effectively."
